About Us

Following a long and distinguished career in the legal profession Colin Payne took early retirement in 1993. Colin had always loved the outdoor life and was a very keen gardener, and with the extra time that he now had started to work on an ad-hoc basis maintaining gardens for friends and neighbours. Soon Colin was getting requests purely from recommendations and word of mouth, and in 1995 decided to establish the business Colin Payne Garden Services, (CPGS).

CPGS are based in Lindfield, West Sussex and are able to work anywhere within a 15 mile radius. Working further afield is an option but the excess travel time would need to be considered in our quote. We are able to quote either an hourly or daily rate, or will price a project to completion.

We have an extensive insurance policy covering both public and employers liability. Our Indemnity limit is one million pounds. Fully Insured and Registered Waste Carrier
